Privacy policy

This policy covers www.eliteworkflow.com. It does not cover work we do inside a client company, which is governed by the contract with that client.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your first and last name, work email, phone number, company, how you found us, and anything you write in the message field. Your browser also sends us its IP address with that request. We use it only to count submissions and slow down automated ones, we hold it in memory rather than in a database, and it is gone when the server restarts.
When you book a call, that happens on Calendly rather than here, and Calendly collects what you enter under its own policy.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use, and which site or search sent them. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We see these figures in aggregate, not as named people, and we do not use them for advertising. You can block the cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our host also keeps standard server request logs, which record technical details of each request, such as the time and the page, and not the contents of the form.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to prepare for our first call, and to keep a record of the conversation if we go on to work together. We do not sell or rent your details, we do not share them for anyone else’s advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages sit in our email like any other correspondence. We generally keep enquiries that do not become work for about two years. If we do work together, we generally keep the records that relate to the engagement for about seven years, which is the window our accountants and our insurers ask for. You can ask us to delete anything sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need to, and only to run the site and answer you. Google Workspace hosts our email. Our hosting provider runs this site and processes the contact form, and an email delivery service sends the messages it produces. Calendly handles scheduling if you use it, and Google Analytics measures visits. Each acts on our instructions. We do not send your details anywhere else, and no one buys them from us.
Where it is held
Primarily in the United States, with the providers above. If you are writing to us from outside the US, sending the form means your details will be handled there.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect what you send us, including encrypted connections to this site and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise that it is.
Your choices
Email contact@eliteworkflow.com to see, correct, export, or delete what we hold about you, or to object to us holding it. We will confirm we received your request, may need to verify your identity, and will respond within 30 days.
California residents
If you live in California, you may ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. Send requests to contact@eliteworkflow.com.
Visitors from the UK and EU
We use your details to reply to a request you made and for our legitimate interest in running and growing our business. You have the rights described above, and if you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This is a business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. If the change is material, we will say what changed rather than leaving you to compare versions.
